I'm Mori Hallelujah, a painter, video artist and tattoo ceremony facilitator based in Atlit, Israel. My work begins with the images that stay with me: patterns in nature, visions from different states of consciousness, and feelings I cannot yet put into words.

After surviving trauma, painting became a way back to myself. When words failed, I could still follow a line, build a composition, and work with color. Repetition gave me something to return to. Geometry helped me find order within emotional chaos, while color made room for everything that did not fit neatly inside it. My paintings became road maps through that process.

I work with layered patterns, botanical forms and gold acrylic paint, bringing fragments of those inner images into a form I can hold and share. The precision matters to me, but so does the unexpected: the meeting of two colors, a form that appears while I am working, a painting that takes me somewhere I had not planned to go.

This same attention carries into my other work. As a tattoo ceremony facilitator, I work with a person's story and intention, creating a mark they choose to carry on their skin. In Pinta, my video project, I build and animate visual worlds that move with music. Painting, tattooing and video give me different ways to work with the relationship between image, body and inner experience.
